The romances play no part since their Warden and Hawke didn't have romances, that's there for the fans. I used to love the ambiguity with Bioware, where the story made sense regardless of gender/race/class, but ever since it was decided that KOTOR's Revan was a male and the Exile a female it seems like they've been typecasting their protagonists. Does it seem to anyone else that the game is subtly pushing the Inquisitor to be female? If nothing else, a female Inquisitor has more romance options, especially as an elf. Has there been any word on the Inquisitor's canonical class/gender? Correct me if I'm wrong, but both the Warden and Hawke are canonically male? The Warden because of the Morrigan/OGB storyline (Obviously there's room for argument there) and I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Hawke is supposed to be a male mage. Do not continue it unless it really needs a response. It is considered archived - the discussion is over.
